Holiday Shipping Deadlines For Central New York

You've spent time and money shopping for the perfect gift for out of town family members or friends.  Now, you want to make sure they arrive on time.  Since Christmas falls on a Sunday this year , MSN.com says deadlines for shipping those presents may be a bit earlier.

Here are the deadlines that the major shippers have listed on their websites:

U.S. Postal Service:  Thursday, December 15th for retail ground.  Tuesday, December 20th for First Class Mail (including Christmas cards).    Wednesday. December 21st for Priority Mail, and Friday, December 23rd for Priority Mail Express.

UPS:  Monday, December 19th for UPS 3Day Select.  Wednesday, December 21st for UPS 2nd Day Air.  Thursday, December 22nd for UPS Next Day Air.

FedEx:  Friday, December 23rd for FedEx First Overnight, FedEx Priority Overnight, and FedEx 2Day.

Amazon:  Friday, December 16th for free shipping.  Monday, December 19th for standard shipping.  Thursday, December 22nd for two-day shipping, and Friday, December 23rd for one-day shipping.
