The Buffalo Head restaurant is reopening, and they're hiring.

The iconic Forestport restaurant closed in 2017. It was purchased earlier this year by Kevin Asaro who had hoped to open the restaurant by June, but plans were evidently delayed.

The new plan is to hopefully open by mid-November and they are starting to hire staff now.

A Facebook post says resumes are being accepted for manager, chefs, waitresses/waiters, bartenders, hostesses, buspersons, salad prep, bakers, and dishwashers.

If you're interested in applying, send resume with salary requirements, and references to asakv@aol.com.

The Buffalo Head restaurant is famously named for the stuffed bison head immigrant loggers used to identify it, during train stops in the 1920s. Since those days, the restaurant has also operated under the names Morrison’s Inn and Lockwood Inn and has changed owners several times.
