Brad Paisley’s Tribute to Andy Griffith – “Waitin’ On A Woman” [AUDIO]

You  may have heard the news earlier today that Andy Griffith passed away at the age of 86.  Brad Paisley recorded "Waitin' On A Woman" and shot a video with Andy playing the part of the old man in the song.  Today Brad and his record label released a special version of the song with more of Brad's thoughts about Andy and making of the video. 

An amusing story about this song, it was originally released without the Andy Griffith part.  As it was racing up the charts, the video was made and radio was issued a copy with Andy.  When we played that version many people would call and say they thought we we had left the microphone on and was singing along.

Brad has called it one the most important songs he has ever recorded and thought Andy Griffith was the ideal person to play the old man.
