Blake Shelton kicked off 'The Voice' with his new song 'Boys Round Here,' as the Top 8 sang for a spot in the Top 6 next week.  Blake's team stuck to their country roots.  Holly Tucker proved she could fill in for Kimberly Perry in The Band Perry with 'Done.'  The Swon Brothers showed off their harmonies on the Eagles' 'Seven Bridges Road,' and Danielle Bradbery went back to a happier time with 'Grandpa.'

Danielle Bradbery

Danielle Bradbery, the youngest in the competition, took us back to a happier time with the Judds' 'Grandpa,' impressing all four coaches, including Adam Levine, 'You are an incredible country music artist that is just waiting to be born. It's staggering. And it's cool you sang a song about Blake.'

The Swon Brothers

The Swon Brothers sat around the campfire and showed off their beautiful harmonies with the Eagles' 'Seven Bridges Road.'  Whether or not the performance kept them safe another week is questionable.  I love the Swon Brothers, but the competition is getting stiffer.  On the other hand, country music fans are very loyal and they've picked up lots of new fans in the last few weeks.

Holly Tucker

Holly Tucker showed us a side, we haven't seen with The Band Perry's 'Done.'  She was confident, feisty and vocally spot on.  If Kimberly Perry ever can't make a show, she should call Holly, who could step in and cover for her.

Blake Shelton opened the show with his new song 'Boys Round Here' but I'm not sure it was live.  It sounded too good to be live.  And the background vocals sounded a LOT like Miranda Lambert and RaeLynn and not the singers behind him.

Michelle Chameul, Usher's last woman standing, and Amber Carrington from Adam's team were the night's standouts.  Amber took on Adele's 'Skyfall,' leaving coach Adam calling it the best Adele cover on the shows history.  Michelle blew everyone away with Bruno Mars' 'Grenade.'  Blake called it her best performance yet and it may give Usher another week on the show.

Shakira on the other hand, may be done.  Her last artist Sasha, could be one of the ones sent home tonight.  Tune in to NBC to see which two will be sent home.
