ABC News is reporting there was another oil rig explosion in the Gulf of Mexico.  While there is some oil on the water, it's nothing compared to the 2010 BP disaster with the Deepwater Horizon. Click to see video from the scene plus why the timing of this event is really eerie.

Sometimes the timing of events seem too odd to be merely coincidence.  This explosion at the Black Elk Energy Co. oil and natural gas platform, comes the day after BP agreed to a $4 billion settlement for the 2010 explosion at Deepwater Horizon.  But unlike that disaster, this rig wasn't a drilling operation.  It was shut down for maintenance at the time of the explosion.  Two people are missing and several others seriously injured.
