An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing New York teen, who police believe could be in imminent danger after being abducted by a accused rapist.

The North Tonawanda Police Department is investigating an abduction that occurred on Niagara Falls Boulevard, in North Tonawanda, New York at about 7:00 PM on Monday, February 15th.

17-year-old Stephnie White has short, brown hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 4 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. Stephnie was last seen wearing a black Deadpool sweatshirt, red and black pajama pants with Harley Quinn images and black and white sneakers.

Police say White was abducted by 50-year-old Michael Mesko, who released from jail five days early on Rape charges. Mesko has short, brown hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs about 220 pounds. Mesko also has a surgical scar on the right side of his neck and a tattoo of a wolf on his right ankle.

The vehicle Mesko was driving is a blue all-terrain Nissan Rogue with New York license plate number HPS3840. He was last seen travelling on Niagara Falls Boulevard.

The teen was taken under circumstances that lead State Police to believe she is in imminent danger of serious harm or even death.
