We call it an "Intimate Acoustic Show," Nashvillians and country musicians refer to it as a "Guitar Pull."  According to one website it's

an informal get-together of songwriters to test new material on each other, play each others’ songs and party.

I call it a good time, Randy Houser, Andy Gibson and Heidi Newfield will all appear at our 2nd Acoustic Show/Guitar Pull at Rome Capitol Theater, October 1.

All three artists will be on stage at one time sharing their songs and the stories behind them.  Usually a few tales from the road pop up too.

Randy houser

Randy has gone through a couple of record label changes since hitting number 2 on the charts with the song, "Boots On" and thetop 20 with his debut, "Anything Goes."  Check out his latest hit, "How Country Feels."

ANDY GIBSON

Andy had a top 30 hit with his debut, "Wanna Make You Love Me" and co-wrote Jason Aldean's hit with Kelly Clarkson, "Don't You Wanna Stay."  Andy revisits summers in the past with his new hit "Summer Back."

Heidi Newfield

Heidi of course was a member of the trio Trick Pony that banged out several hits in the early 2000's, she left for a solo career with the debut of her song, "Johnny and June."  I still don't understand how that song wasn't a number one hit!  Check out Heidi's new song, "Why'd You Have To Be So Good?"
