A son who gave the gift of life before being taken too soon, is being remembered with a Ride for Addison.

Addison Snyder suffered irreversible brain damage in a tragic car accident in Rome in January. His mother, Tara Shanahan had to make the decision no parent should have to make...letting him go. But Addison's spirit lives on through organ donations.

A ride in honor of Addison is being held by Broken Halos RC June 15th. It'll start in Sylvan Beach where Addison spent most of his time, riding to the scene of his tragic accident to salute him. It'll end at Addison's Celebration of Life benefit at Jack's or Better in Oneida. "We want to make some pipe noise for Addison Snyder," says Shanahan.

Shanahan says she has $200,000 in medical bills and a $15,000 funeral bill, but she wants to use the proceeds from the ride to honor Addison. "I am trying to raise funds so my son, my hero, can have the magnificent headstone he deserves."
