Letchworth State Park is know for it's spectacular views, in fact it's often referred to as the "Grand Canyon of the East." There also plenty of whispering about how big the bucks are that call the park home. If there were any rumors about the size of black bear population, those have been laid to rest.

Matt Sphar of North Java, has been sharing photos of a massive bear he took down this week near Mount Morris Dam. While there's been no official weigh in, he puts the bear at 400 pounds. It was big enough that his wife, Becky said it took 6 guys with heavy backpacks to get it home. And like any good hunter, they harvested all the meat.
