Many say the next generation of food producers will have more of an eye on the land, animals and organic farming. That's the goal behind Annie's Scholarship program. Working with Cornell's Small Farms Department, they're offering $150,000 in scholarships for the 2016 school year.

The scholarships are available for students studying sustainable agriculture. Annie's believe healthy soils and healthy farms are the foundation for healthy foods.

Annie’s Sustainable Agriculture Scholarship Program is open to full time undergraduate and graduate students studying at an accredited 2 or 4 year college or graduate school in the U.S. for the 2016/2017 school year. Students must be focusing studies on sustainable agriculture.

Applications must be postmarked no later than January 5, 2016.  For more details and an application, visit Annie's website.
