We all did dumb things as kids. But grand theft auto?! That's a new one straight from the book of a Central New York 13-year-old.

Manlius Police found the boy driving a stolen car they had been looking for, according to a post on the department's Facebook page. Two other 13-year-olds and two 16-year-olds were in the car with him, and after all five were arrested and brought back to the station, the boys were released with orders for court appearances.

Police also advised locals to lock their doors and keep keys out of easy reach because they said a lot of recent car thefts have been committed by underage kids with opportunity.
