Who Has Central New York’s Best Burger For National Burger Day
It's National Hamburger Day, and as a guy who lives, breathes and craves cheeseburgers, I know a thing or two about pattied out cow meat. As the 'ol saying goes; "opinions are like noses, we all have one." So we are seeking your input on Central New York's Best Hamburger..
I'm salivating just thinking about all the burgers I like. And it's hard not to rank the ones you grill yourself at the top. But here we go Tad's Top 5 Burgers: (not in any particular order)
Tad's Top Burgers
- Boilermaker Burger - Definitely would be the top choice, but not available year round.
- 5 Guys Burgers - How can they be leave you so stuffed?
- Big Mac - Back in the day, I drove 35 minutes to get one.
- Wendy's Single - No extras, straight up, and that new pretzel bun, YUM.
- Eddie Jr - Only has these one time at Kayuta Lake Campground and he won't give up the secret.
Polly's Take
I'm not as into burgers as Tad, who could eat them 7 days a week but I enjoy one from time to time. Here's my Top 5
Polly's Top Burgers
- 5 Guys Burgers - These guys make the best burgers around! The only problem is the overstuffed feeling after you eat one.
- Boilermaker Burger - I wish these were available year round
- Big Mac - These I could eat 7 days a week but those calories will kill ya
- Rooster Burger at Tin Rooster - It not only has bacon but a fried green tomato.
- Mushroom Swiss at Heron Creek - Everything Chef Andy makes is amazing but his burgers are among the best.
So what's your favorite hamburger or as they say in New England hamburg?
