Target is taking a stand. "We welcome transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity."

The retail chain is standing with the transgender community after several states banned men who identify as women from using the bathrooms they choose. "Everyone deserves to feel like they belong. And you’ll always be accepted, respected and welcomed at Target."

Target's stance has the country divided, for and against the issue.  A petition, created by the American Family Association to boycott Target has over 1.1 million signatures. "Target's policy is exactly how sexual predators get access to their victims and poses a danger to wives and daughters."

The AFA is suggesting Target create unisex bathrooms meant for the transgender community.

On the other side of the divided line is those who support Target and their decision to stand up for the transgender community.

Which side of the debate are you on? Do you stand with the American Family Association or with Target?
