Washing a Tube of Lipstick Makes a Huge Mess

Have you had a laundry disaster? You reach in to fold your newly washed and dried clothes, only to find a mess. It happened the other day when I realized I washed an entire tube of lipstick forgotten in a pants pocket. Of course it was a favorite pair and I don't think there is any saving them.

After searching the internet for a home remedy, I decided to try hairspray. The tip suggested spraying it on the stain, letting it dry and washing again. It's in the machine this morning and I'm hoping to go home to clean pants. I'm probably dreaming but if the stain at least comes out on the outside I could still wear them without using the pocket.

The craziest part of the whole thing is I rarely wear lipstick. I guess it could have been worse. It could have been a tube or RED lipstick.
