If you have an outstanding parking ticket in the city of Utica, you can pay the original fine without late fees during an amnesty period running from March 7th through the 18th.

The amnesty period will cover tickets issued from January 2010 to March 18th.

Officials say after the amnesty program, the city will actively step up the booting process of vehicles with overdue fines.  Vehicles that have three unpaid parking tickets in an 18-month period are eligible to be booted.

A boot ticket carries a $150 fine and cannot be reduced under any circumstances.
