Taylor Swift has managed to land on Time's all-encompassing Top 10 Songs of 2012 countdown with 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' -- and she's the only country artist to appear on the rather diverse collection of artists.

The quirky uptempo track lands at No. 4, just behind notable tracks by staple mainstream artists Usher and Carly Rae Jepsen. The eclectic countdown also features a track from rapper Nicki Minaj, a friend of the country music superstar.

'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' was released in August, and has sold more than two million digital downloads to date. The track sold a staggering 623,000 copies in its first week alone, giving the blonde bombshell the distinction of having the highest one-week sales for a female artist, according to iTunes.

“Writing ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ was one of the most hilarious experiences I have ever had in the studio because it just happened so naturally,” Swift admits of writing the punchy kiss-off track. The song came together after a friend of one of her ex-boyfriends stopped into the studio and pressed her about whether or not they’d be getting back together.

The song also earned Swift her first No. 1 single on Billboard's all-genre Hot 100 chart, and helped the track's accompanying album, 'Red,' sell more than 1.2 million copies in its debut week. The 16-song collection has since sold more than two million copies domestically, with another million units moved internationally.
