October 28, 2011 Turning Stone is getting into the gift giving spirit early. They've got a show thats two for the price of one. Phil Vassar and Craig Morgan will be at Turning Stone for an acoustic show, Christmas and hits show. They'll be in the showroom Saturday December 10th.
October 20, 2011 Kellie Pickler will be bringing her "Red High Heels" into the Turning Stone Resort-Casino Showroom on Thursday December 15 at 8PM. Kellie first gained notice as a "Final 6" contestant on the 2005-2006 season of "American Idol" and has earned a number of accolades since.
September 24, 2011 It seems like summer was just yesterday. Well, actually it was as today, Saturday the 24th, is the first full day of fall. My point is that with time passing at warp speed Christmas will be here before you know it which means another visit from Kenny Rogers as he will be bringing his "Christmas and Hits" show to the Turning Stone Resort Casino again this year. It is the 30th annual edition of this holiday favorite show and because of the previous high demand for tickets this year it will be presented in the Event Center rather than the Showroom.
September 6, 2011 Gloriana featuring New Hartford natives Tom and Mike Gossin along with Rachel Reinhart will be making their first area appearance November 26 in the Showroom at Turning Stone Resort Casino.
August 30, 2011 Tiger Woods is teeing it up at Turning Stone for the Notah Begay Foundation Challenge today at 11am. PGA golfers Rickie Fowler and Hunter Mahan along with LPGA TOUR stars Annika Sorenstam, Cristie Kerr, Natalie Gulbis and Suzann Pettersen will also be taking part. NFL quarterbacks Tony Romo and Sam Bradford were originally scheduled to play, but that was back when the tournament was set for July. It had to be moved to give Tiger's leg more time to heal. Bradford and Romo had to trade in their golf balls for footballs to get ready for the upcoming season.
August 2, 2011 Montgomery Gentry rocked the events center at Turning Stone in front of an almost sold out crowd. Before the show they treated our winners to a special sound check. Troy Gentry even managed to sneak into the crowd before the sound check to take a seat. He 'just wanted to see if anyone noticed,' and of course they did. Troy & Eddie not only sang several tunes, including a few off the new album out October 4th, they also took time for pictures with everyone on stage.
July 25, 2011 I'm left speechless. When we decided to put Montgomery Gentry sound check party passes and concert tickets up for auction, I anticipated them going for a couple hundred dollars. The bidding war heated up in the last hour, but in the end Tommy had the winning bid of an amazing $565! That money will go to Special Olympics New York to send Polly Wogg 'Over the Edge.'
