Far-flung a future as it might seem to imagine Jimmy Fallon at the helm of 'The Tonight Show' in New York by the year 2014, it's even stranger to consider the next generation of late-night wars being set up. September 27, 2012 If you're a night owl, you've probably caught "The Tonight Show" on NBC TV. On this day in 1954, the original late night program that started it all, "Tonight" premiered on NBC. Comic genius (in my opinion) Steve Allen was the first host, and in its 58 year history, the show has had a total of five hosts. (actually six as Jay Leno has a host stint twice).

June 16, 2011 Before Blake Shelton became a country music superstar, he was struttin' his stuff on the runway. Blake was on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and it appears Blake's mother use to enroll him in beauty pageants. Leno even showed a picture of Blake when he was younger, complete with professional pose. And Blake wasn't happy Leno let the cat out of the bag.
