Yesterday I remember as a kid, my parents would always take us on a picnic during the Memorial Day Weekend, regardless of the weather. One year, the temperature was in the 50s, and the wind was blowing, but we still made our way to Green Lakes State Park with jackets on. The State Parks open this weekend.
