When we told friends we were buying a winter getaway place in Florida they all said "Watch out for those hurricanes". Well, it's not a hurricane (yet) but Tropical Storm Debbie has been drenching central and northern Florida the past few days . CNN reports that the storm is far from over.

Several severe storms have rolled through Central New York this afternoon. Especially near Rome, Oneida and Herkimer. A thunderstorm warning remains in effect until 9 tonight.
