On New Year’s Eve, an 18-year-old Oklahoma mother shot and killed an intruder to protect her 3-month-old baby, after she had just lost her husband to cancer on Christmas day. Now, John Rich of Big and Rich is on a mission to find this young mother and give her some much-needed help.
June 22, 2011 When John Rich was on NBC's Celebrity Apprentice, he made it clear the only reason he was there was for the kids of St Jude. And he raised more money than any other contestant on any season of the show at over a million dollars.
Now Rich has released a new song called "For the Kids" and shot a video too. Check out the babies fighting brain tumor cancer at St Jude Children Research Hospital.
May 23, 2011 John Rich did what Trace Adkins came so close to doing. He became the first country star to win Celebrity Apprentice. Trace came second to Piers Morgan, although I still think he should have won his season too.
John went up against Marlee Matlin in the final task. They had to create a new retro 7-up campaign, that included a new can and a new TV commercial. John had the 80's and went with a zebra striped can. Love the look and can't wait to pick up one of my own cans.

May 16, 2011 It's down to John Rich and Marlee Matlin on Celebrity Apprentice. He's in the finals and poised to the be the first country star to win. Trace Adkins came in second in his season, losing to Piers Morgan. Although, I thought he should have won! Clint Black was sent home in fifth place during his time on the show. Trace was the one to get Rich on the show. He put the bug in Trump's ear.

Sunday night his team brought in almost seven hundred thousand dollars during an art auction for St Jude Children's Research Center.
