MVCC Nursing Students Win First Place in National Contest [VIDEO]
Nursing students at MVCC have won first place in a National Student Nursing Association competition. The students had to produce a song and video promoting this years theme the "Joy of Nursing". The video was then posted online and on our site three weeks ago, and voted on in competition with several other schools. The MVCC entry garnered the most votes and was declared the winner. 100 Year Old Runs Full Marathon
After doing 50 minutes on a treadmill I feel a sense of great accomplishment. Imagine how insufficient I felt when I heard about the 100-year old man who ran and finished a full marathon yesterday in Toronto, Ontario. According to AP Fauja Singh finished the marathon in a little under 8 hours some 6 hours behind the race winner Kenneth Mungara of Kenya.
