The fifth annual Hall of Fame Classic weekend will be held on Memorial Day Weekend, May 24th-26th, celebrating the historic bond between our nation's military and National Pastime. The Cooperstown Legends game will be held on Saturday, May 25th at Doubleday Field. The game will feature 6 Hall of Famers and 20 other retired MLB Legends.
January 20, 2013 A sad day Saturday for the national pastime as two of baseball's greats, Stan "The Man" Musial and Earl Weaver-both members of the Hall of Fame passed away. Two more different personalities would be hard to find but both shared a passion for the game and a drive for excellence.
December 3, 2012 This is the first year of Baseball Hall of Fame eligibility for home run kings Barry Bonds and Sammy Sosa and pitching great Roger Clemons but if early returns are any indication they won't be being enshrined in Cooperstown next summer. Their incredible diamond feats have been overshadowed by the taint of steroid usage and an early AP survey of the baseball writers casting ballots shows their induction to be a long shot at best.

January 31, 2012 The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown has announced a change of dates for its popular "Hall of Fame" classic game. The game, part of the annual "Hall of Fame Classic Weekend", will be held June 16 the day before Father's Day. The game had previously been held on Father's Day itself but, according to Hall of Fame president Jeff Idelson, the change was made to be more accommodating to fans.
July 17, 2011 If you have plans to visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown next weekend be advised that it is induction weekend and that parking and sidewalk space will be at a premium. Although this years inductees Bert Blyleven, Roberto Alomar and baseball executive Pat Gillick may not spark the same level of interest that many previous honorees have merchants in the village are hopeful that their shops will see an uptick in business.
