I did a Big Frog 104 live broadcast at the zoo on Saturday and was amazed at the exhibits of over 100 exotic animals, the jungle environment trails between sections, and so much more. Utica Zoo Welcomes New Animals

Simon and Garfunkel once sang, "It's all happening at the zoo" and maybe they had the Utica Zoo in mind. According to the Utica O-D the zoo has received a shipment of new animals including two strip hyenas, a yak, and a crested porcupine. They join other recent arrivals such as an African lion and sea lion.
