Locally, the national issue of a mother's right to breastfeed in public has come to the forefront with an incident at the Fly Creek Cider Mill. All across the country the debate about a mother's right to breastfeed their child in public is one that is ongoing. One state representative in New Hampshire made a comment that will make your jaw drop.

According to an article on politicalo.com, New Hampshire State Representative made the following statement about mothers who want to breastfeed in public.

“So, if we’re not going to put moms in jail for breastfeeding their babies in public, the least we can do in the best interest of equality is allow the men to come up to them and play around with their exposed nipples and areolas, BUT ONLY once the babies are finished feeding,” Moore opined. “We wouldn’t want to disturb the little ones’ eating habits, which are important for their growth. That being said, I don’t know about the rest of you, but I am going to start fondling away as soon as this interview is over.”

Are you kidding me? Is this guy really a politician that expects to keep his political seat? Does he really believe sexual assault is the answer to his side of the argument? Sometimes you really have to wonder about people, especially those who are entrusted to make laws for a particular state. What do you think of these comments?
