Scotty McCreery Sings ‘Water Tower Town’ & One More is Sent Home on ‘American Idol’

'American Idol' had its Elite Eight after another elimination. Last year's winner, Scotty McCreery stopped by to sing his new song 'Water Tower Town,' and got a surprise when he was presented with a framed platinum record for his debut 'Clear As Day.' 

Your bottom three last night were, Heejun Han, Hollie Cavanagh and country girl Skylar Laine.  I was surprised Skylar fell short after her performance of Miranda Lambert's 'Gunpowder & Lead,' but she was sent to safety, leaving Hollie and Heejun.  Hollie struggled with Carrie Underwood's 'Jesus Take the Wheel,' so it was no surprise she was in danger.  Heejun started to take the competition seriously this week, but was it too late?
