There are team-building exercises, then there's Lead with Rhythm - a whole new way to connect, listen, and learn, all while having fun.

When most hear the words team building, fun is the last thing that comes to mind. But that's exactly what happened when a bunch of radio station employees, who love music, gathered in the lobby to beat on some drums. The video speaks for itself:

On the Road with Polly - Lead With Rhythm

John Bertrand of Lead with Rhythm graciously came to TownSquare Media for the latest episode of "On the Road with Polly." The team building exercise started with everyone picking a drum and following John to find the beat and feel the rhythm, all without any words spoken.

Once everyone found the rhythm, we moved on to playing different instruments to our own beats. This not only highlighted the importance of listening while doing your own thing, but boy did it feel really good to beat that drum! John showed us a few techniques but most of the time, we were really just focusing on the rhythm and our place in maintaining the rhythm of the entire group..

More Than Team Building

Lead with Rhythm may be a team-building exercise but for me, it was so much more. I’ve been suffering from depression, one of the side effects of menopause, and this experience helped with that empty feeling many go through. If only for an hour. It was a mental release, allowing me to focus on the music and finding my own rhythm, all with a smile. That's the true power of music!

Master Builder

John is a master at building community, opening the lines of communication, and encouraging self-awareness. He can tailor his program to small groups on up to rooms of 200 people, and adjust it for leadership seminars and corporate/professional development.

It's guaranteed to get better audience engagement than many of your stereotypical boardroom activities while still communicating the organizers' message or goals. It's a great morale booster, too!

John is also available for elder care events, yoga events, summer camps, special events like bridal showers or fire pit gatherings, fitness and wellness events, and more. Basically, if you have an event where high-energy participation would only enhance your goals, John is your guy.
