Police Need Your Help with Hit and Run in Sylvan Beach

New York State Police are investigating a hit in run in Sylvan Beach and they need your help. It happened in the Nice N Easy parking lot Sunday afternoon.

Around 1:30 P.M. on Sunday, February 18th, a 54-year-old man was walking back to his vehicle in the Nice-n-Easy parking lot, near the gas pumps when a vehicle backed into him. The vehicle, an older model gray Ford Taurus, left the scene.

Store surveillance video shows the vehicle being driven by a white man in his mid-30s. A white female is seen sitting in the passenger seat.

The victim was taken to SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse for minor injuries.
