Holy cow! Of all the pig headed things you'll hear, this will really get your goat. PETA's latest harebrained idea is for people to stop using anti-animal language, comparing it to racist or homophobic slurs. So instead of 'bringing home the bacon' they suggest 'bringing home the bagels.'

Hold your horses. Is everyone at PETA drunk as a skunk? This harebrained idea is making a mountain out of a molehill and PETA needs to get off their high horse and let sleeping dogs lie. Because you're barking up the wrong tree if you think society won't have a cow over this stupidity.

PETA's wild goose chase began on Twitter where they even offered several animal friendly suggestions including 'feeding a fed horse.' NOPE! This idea is the definition of beating a dead horse.

"Just as it became unacceptable to use racist, homophobic, or ableist language, phrases that trivialize cruelty to animals will vanish as more people begin to appreciate animals for who they are and start ‘bringing home the bagels’ instead of the bacon."
