Miraculous Buzzer Beater in New York High School Tournament

Against all odds New Rochelle High came back from a 10 point deficit in the final 4 minutes of the Section 1 Class AA championship game. Trailing by 2 points with only 2.9 seconds left New Rochelle pulled off one of the most stunning buzzer beating shots you will ever see.

After a desperation inbound pass was intercepted by Mount Vernon the ball fell to New Rochelle’s Khalil Edney hit a three-quarter-court shot to win the game. He appears to release the ball with just 0.1 seconds left on the clock. After the shot went in officials initially waved off the basket. Both teams celebrated while officials huddled up and determined the shot would count.
