Lady Antebellum Makes Their Saturday Night Live Debut

Live from New York, it's Lady Antebellum.

Lady Antebellum is excited to make their Saturday Night Live debut this weekend.Charles Kelly plans to soak up every minute of it.  He says 'it's such a historic moment for us as a band.  It definately feels like a mark of wow, we've made it.'  Dave Haywood tells CMT he considers the show 'the litmus test of who made it.'  He recalls as a kid, 'always staying up late' to watch, even if it meant breaking the rules at home.

Haywood was a big fan of the late Chris Farley and really like his character Matt Foley, the motivational speaker who cautioned his audience, if they didn't change their ways they could end up 'living in a van down by the river.''Mike & Molly' star Melissa McCarthy will host SNL on NBC at 11:30.  Lady Antebellum is the musical guest.  Check out the promo with Lady A and McCarthy.
