Country singer Kevin Sharp has passed away at the age of 43. He died Saturday from 'ongoing complications from past stomach surgeries and digestive issues,' according to his website.

A memorial service celebrating Sharp’s life is being planned in Nashville, Tennessee. Details will be update on Sharp's website.

Sharp was diagnosed with bone cancer in 1989 and given little chance of recovery. He beat the odds, with his cancer going into remission before recording the #1 hit 'Nobody Knows.'
