My wife Sarah has to be one of the biggest Keith Urban fans on the face of the planet. I tend to learn a lot about him, due to this fact. However, this is something I never heard of, and maybe you didn't either. Did you know Keith Urban was part of another country band called The Ranch? They had one album released in 1997.

The Ranch was formed in 1997. The band consisted of Peter Clarke on drums and percussion, Jerry Flowers on harmony vocals and bass guitar, and of course Keith Urban on lead vocals, guitar, banjo, and keyboards.

The band issued a self-titled album called "The Ranch" in 1997, and released two singles "Walkin' the Country" and "Just Some Love". Both tracks didn't get farther than number 50 on the charts. The band disbanded in 1998.

After the band broke up, Keith Urban resumed his solo career. Some of the songs from The Ranch may sound familiar though, because Keith Urban released some of their tracks in 2004.
