Jerrod Niemann Marries His Lover, Lover
Jerrod Niemann is a married man. He and girlfriend Morgan Petek tied the knot in San Juan, Puerto Rico. From the photo Petek posted on Instagram, it looked like a picture perfect day.
Niemann's rep tells People, the couple got married at sunset, 'atop the historic Spanish fort Castillo de San Cristóbal.'
Niemann says he's 'looking forward to seeing what the world has in store for us as a married couple.' It could be full of surprises if the marriage is anything like the proposal. Niemann tells People he planned to rent a horse drawn carriage in New Orleans, but when he asked if she wanted a ride, 'She's like, 'Nah. Horses are supposed to be in pastures, not walking the streets of New Orleans!' I just thought, 'Oh, crap!' I was literally frantic.'
Instead Niemann took Petek to a statue in Jackson Square asked two ladies, 'Would you be kind enough to take our picture? I think we might be getting engaged. Morgan was like, 'What?' Then I took out the ring. Morgan was crying; the ladies were crying ... It was a cool moment,' Niemann explained.
Congrats to the happy couple. May they always have laughter in their life.
