Jake Owen and Wife Welcome Thanksgiving Baby

Jake Owen has an extra special reason to be thankful this Thanksgiving. His wife, Lacey, gave birth to their first child -- daughter Olive Pearl Owen -- earlier today (Nov. 22).

The pink bundle of joy was born in Nashville, and weighed in at 6 pounds, 3 ounces and 19-and-a-half inches long. She will go by her middle name, Pearl, not only because she is priceless and precious like the mineral, but because she is named after Owen's godmother, who passed away in July.

Owen already shared a photo of himself cradling Pearl with his fans, and he could barely contain his joy. In addition to wearing an ear-to-ear grin, he posted: "Today is the greatest day of my life. Welcome Olive Pearl Owen. 6lbs 3 oz Turkey Baby!!! Happy Thanksgiving!"

"Lacey and I are so excited to start our own family," Owen said in an official statement released Thanksgiving Day. The singer is clearly ready for the responsibility of fatherhood, saying, "We are looking forward to teaching Pearl everything we learned from our parents and also learning from her."

Congratulations to Jake and Lacey on their beautiful baby girl, aka "Turkey Baby." She's already a looker, just like her parents!
