Hundreds Turn Out For ‘Stars & Stripes’ Sitring Run/Walk to Help Wounded Warriors
After returning from serving in Iraq, Rick Yarosh knew he looked different, but he stills sees the same man in the mirror he was before he left. When others come home, they may look the same, but don’t know who is looking back at them, when looking in the mirror. Sitrin treats veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome and hundreds more helped the cause during the 2nd annual ‘Stars & Stripes’ Run/Walk at SunyIT.
TownSquare Media joined the cause by walking and raising money for Sitrin’s Military Rehabilitation Program, which provides comprehensive care for wounded warriors.
Those young and young at heart turned out to honor and remember the brave men and women who served our country.
The walkers prepared by following Ft Drum soldiers, in their dance ritual.
