Oneida County's first rage room is officially open and providing the ultimate way to let out your anger in a safe, fun way.

We stopped by Triple 'R' Rage Room in Rome to try it out ourselves. We got all suited up in our protective gear, signed our waivers, and got ready to rage. From glass bottles and jelly jars to a microwave and a Crockpot, the rage room had just about everything you could think of to smash. They even provided the weapons of destruction, too: There were golf clubs, hammers, sledgehammers, baseball bats and more, all to help us smash the room's breakables to bits.

And then we started.... and absolute chaos ensued. While I took a more hesitant approach, Polly was off to the races, and nothing in her sight was safe. Check out this behind-the-scenes video of the experience.... The real fun begins at 7:50.

It's safe to say we had a good time getting our rage out! But Triple 'R' provides much more than a way to destress. After less than five minutes of raging, Polly and I were absolutely worn out. Talk about a good workout, especially if you're going full-throttle, pedal-to-the-metal like Polly was!

After letting out all of our rage, possibly the best part was not having to clean anything up! Sounds like a good deal, right?

The new business venture is owned by Awaken Divinity and is located at 1188 Erie Blvd. in Rome. They have a variety of different packages, including Recycle My Rage, where you can bring your own breakables and dispose of them in the most fun way possible.
