Free Summer Kids’ Movies at New Hartford Marquee Cinemas

When the kids start getting bored this Summer, take them to the movies.

Marquee Cinemas in New Hartford is offering free movies this Summer. The lineup includes classic kid's movies as well as newer releases.

Movies start at 9:30am on Tuesdays and Wednesdays all summer long, and there are two films to choose from each day.

• July 9 & 10: Hotel Transylvania 3 or The Secret Life of Pets
• July 16 & 17: Sherlock Gnomes or Shrek
• July 23 & 24: Kung Fu Panda or Peter Rabbit
• July 31 & 31: Small Foot or Early Man
• August 6 & 7: The Grinch or Despicable Me 2
• August 13 & 14: Despicable Me 3 or Happy Feet
• August 20 & 21: The Lego Movie 2 or Teen Titans GO! To The Movies
• August 27 & 28: Wonder Park or How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World

You can also enjoy the free movies in plush seating. It's all part of updates at Marquee Cinemas, including a new lobby.

In addition to the free movies for kids, Marquee Cinemas also features Sensory Saturdays, sensory friendly movies shown at 11am on the second Saturday of each month. The lights in the auditorium will be turned up, the sound turned down and everyone will be allowed to move around and talk during the movie. Open captioning will also be featured on the screen while the movie plays.
