It's Hollywood week on 'American Idol.' The judges fell in love with Garrett Miles, who is blind, after his performance of 'To Make You Feel My Love.'

Harry Connick Jr. was impressed with the way Miles "can hit those notes with no vibrato, just hold them out.". Keith Urban explained "it's a country thing."

Miles' optic nerves never developed, leaving him with only 10% vision in his left eye and none in his right. That didn’t stop him. Miles learned to the play the guitar when he was 10 by feel and by ear and can hear a song and teach himself to play it.

Miles was born in Georgia but moved to Nashville to become a country music star. He released his début CD “Country Classics” in May 2012, with an original song “Unseen Soldiers,” a tribute to the men and women of the military and the families that support them, a subject very close to Garrett’s heart. He often performs for the troops and their families. "It is a pleasure to sing for the men and women who fight for our freedom. I will never be able to fight for my country, but I want to support our men and women that do,' Miles says.

Miles is no stranger to the big stage. He's opened for Blake Shelton, Tracy Lawrence, the late George Jones, Sammy Kershaw, Ray Price and Lee Greenwood.
