Driver Crashes Trying To Pass School Bus In Albany

They say patience is a virtue, something one Albany driver didn't have. In his haste to get around a school bus he ended up crashing his BMW.The accident was caught on a dash-cam video as the driver attempted to pass a school bus at the intersection of Broadway and I-787 near Quay Street in Albany Tuesday morning.

"I thought there was another lane," the driver is heard saying after running into a concrete barrier.

Three children on board were taken to the hospital as a precaution but no one was injured, according to Fox News.

The driver was issued a ticket for unsafe passing.
