Charles Kelley of Lady Antebellum is almost as passionate about golf as he is country music. The singer says if he had to pick between a hole in one or a No. 1 single ('Compass' is currently in the Top 5), he'd take the radio hit. But in a strange way, the two passions merged last summer.

During an interview with Taste of Country Nights, Kelley opens up about his club of choice: the Calloway Razr.

“I met a guy, he’d come to our show and worked for Calloway," Kelley says, remembering the moment. The gentleman told the singer that he'd be happy to customize a set of sticks for him. And it was one of the best decisions he ever made.

“I’m 6’6”. It’s hard to find golf clubs that fit you right and work right," Kelley adds with an enthusiasm only a golfer could appreciate.

The singer spills that Lady A is currently recording new music. In fact, he took a break from the studio to phone ToC Nights this week. Listen to the interview below.
