February 25, 2013 The new cast of 'Dancing with the Stars' won't be officially announced until tomorrow, but there's rumors Kellie Pickler AND Wynonna Judd will represent the country music world. Kellie was a hoot on 'American Idol,' and I'm sure she'll be just as comical on 'Dancing with the Stars.' Wynonna could use the competition to get in shape, like Kirstie Alley did.

February 18, 2013 Whether they're a guy thing or not, "The Three Stooges" have given us some hilarious moments. Most people say that Curly was their favorite stooge, but Moe's brother Shemp had some very funny antics as well, and they almost had their own TV show. Even though they never got their own show, their short films aired on TV for decades.
One of the most talked about topics this past week was the stranded Carnival cruise ship that found itself simply floating along in the ocean without power, sanity, and toilets. Naturally, the story eventually found itself on the floor of studio 8H in Rockefeller Plaza -- home of 'Saturday Night Live.'
February 15, 2013 Hollywood week on American Idol is over, and the Top 40 men and women moving on have been chosen. The ladies may be the ones to beat this season. Several blew away the judges during their final auditions, including country girl Janell Arthur, soul singer Candice Glover and my favorite this year, Angela Miller who sang an original song that gave Keith Urban goose bumps.
The Dixie Chicks and Nashville songwriter Stephony Smith should be looking forward to some nice royalty checks from the 1999 song 'Sin Wagon.' Never released as an official single, the song has gone on to be a long-term career song for the Chicks, and two different groups performed the track on 'American Idol' during group rounds on Wednesday night (Feb. 13).
22-year-old country singer Janelle Arthur progressed to the next round during Hollywood Week on 'American Idol' Wednesday night (Feb 13), performing the Hank Williams classic 'I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry' to universal praise from the judges.

February 11, 2013 Carrie Underwood, who won two Grammy Awards for 'Blown Away,' provided one of the best performances of the night. She began with an acoustic version of 'Blown Away' before transitioning into her latest hit 'Two Black Cadillacs.' To make the performance even more memorable, a laser lights show played on Carrie's dress while she sang.

Country music promises to set the tone for the 2013 Grammy Awards on Sunday night (Feb. 10), as Taylor Swift will be the first artist to take the stage. Swift kicks off the 8PM CBS broadcast, but -- like so many of the other performances -- what she'll sing is still a mystery.
