This week the Supreme Court is hearing arguments for Proposition 8, which banned gay marriage in California. They are also weighing the Defense of Marriage Act, which defines marriage as between a man and a woman.
To show their support for the LGBT community, people have been changing their profile pictures on Facebook. It started as big blocks of solid red. Then changed to a red block with a pink equal sign, which is symbol of the Human Rights Campaign. Now things have gotten a little out of control and some more creative options have popped up. March 22, 2013 WOW! What a show Kenny Chesney put on in Albany. His 'No Shoes Nation,' or as my record rep re-named it, 'SNOW Shoes Nation' tour made a stop at the Times Union Center. It was the first arena show for Kenny in years.

March 19, 2013 Craig Morgan, who was once a member of the military, is in Afghanistan to entertain the troops. He's on the Stars & Stripes tour that stopped in Kuwait first, to play a show for the soldiers there. Craig then moved into an area of Afghanistan where they haven't had entertainment for two years.
March 18, 2013 I hope they've rehearsed enough because tonight is the night celebrities will strap on their dancing shoes for the premier of Dancing with the Stars on ABC. It looks like Kellie Pickler and Wynonna found time to horse around during rehearsals. Both will join 10 other celebrities tonight at 8, to show off their stuff.

March 13, 2013 Police continue to hunt for the man who went on a shooting rampage in Herkimer and forced several schools on lockdown. The shooting has made National news and is all over social media. March 13, 2013 Congrats are in order for Love & Theft's Eric Gunderson. He and wife welcomed a son into the world earlier than expected. Camden William Gunderson arrived Sunday March 9th, a couple of months sooner than his May 18th due date. I guess he was ready to make his grand entrance into the world.
