Vernon Downs Casino and Tioga Downs Casino have combined to donate $200,000 to the American Red Cross to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy in New York. According to the Tioga Downs website Chairman of American Racing and Entertainment Jeff Gural made the announcement after several fund raising activities were held at the two facilities.

The other day when I was at the gym I saw on one of the TV's a young man reviewing the latest James Bond movie "Skyfall". Actually, I had seen him several times before and was impressed by his poise and maturity. So I did a little investigating. It turns out that he is 14-year old--that's right, 14--Jackson Murphy and he does family and kid movie reviews every Saturday on YNN.
