Since 1891, the Rescue Mission Of Utica has been there for those in need in the local community providing shelter, meals, help from addiction and spiritual guidance. And one of the most visible events of the year for the Mission is serving Thanksgiving Dinners. Many of your friends and neighbors volunteer each year to serve meals on the holiday at the Mission.
Thanksgiving dinner is over. The clean up has--pretty much--been taken care of. Family and friends are either gone or preparing to leave. Now the question is, "What do we do with all the leftovers?".

Most men are lost when it comes to kitchen duties but today, Thanksgiving, is the exception. Today the family expects dad or whoever the man of the house is to get off of the couch, turn off the football game and head to the dinner table to do that most traditional of manly activities, carve the turkey! Why is this such an important task for men?
Art Ginsburg, the quirky chef better known as Mr. Food, has passed away. He died at his home in Florida at the age of 81. Ginsburg was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer just over a year ago. It had gone into remission after treatment and surgery but recently returned.
