November 14, 2011 It will definitely be atop many tech savvy Christmas lists this year providing that person can wait until December 25. But if not, the new Kindle Fire, Amazon.com's new tablet computer version of the e-book, will be available this week, first for those who pre-ordered and then for the rest of us. I am hopelessly un-tech savvy but if I were I'm sure I would be excited by all the new features.
November 14, 2011 Ho, ho, ho. Or should I say, "Ho, ho, ho?" I was shopping at a local store Saturday when I heard the unmistakable strains of "Deck the Halls" coming through the overhead speakers. My wife later told me she has also heard Christmas music being played on the radio. (Not yet on Big Frog 104 though). If memory serves correct I don't recall Christmas music being heard quite so early, Thanksgiving being the usual starting date. Why so early you ask?
November 11, 2011 It's that time of the season many people look forward too all year. Black Friday shopping. Many stores are opening at midnight for the first time this year to keep up with the demand. I'm not much of a Black Friday shopper, but I know a lot of people are. I found this amazing website, bfads.net. that had all the deals this year. So I put together the best deals with links to the ads and where each store is located so you don't get lost. It's a one stop shop before you shop.
