Candlelight Vigil To Be Held for Oneida Fire Victims

A candlelight vigil will be held for the victims of an Oneida house fire that occurred in the early morning hours of Saturday, July 8th. Family and friends will gather to remember the lives of Pauline and James Davis at 6:30 Friday night, July 14 at 315 Lenox Avenue in Oneida.

Light refreshments will be served following the vigil.

According to oneidadispatch.com, Oneida Fire and Police were called to a reported structure fire at 315 Lenox Avenue at approximately 2:45 Saturday morning. Firefighters arrived to find the second floor of the two-bedroom home on fire. After entering the second floor of the residence to fight the fire, they found the bodies of Pauline and James.

The cause of the blaze is still under investigation
