You've heard of Christmas in July but snow in June? It's possible in parts of the Adirondacks. The National Weather Service is predicting snow tonight through Thursday in the high peaks.

Areas higher than 3000 feet may see snow, like Whiteface Mountain north of Lake Placid, that saw 3 feet of snow on Memorial Day weekend in 2013. Mount Mansfield in Vermont could also have snow capped peaks. If the forecast holds true it would be only the 4th time since 1954 there's been measurable snow recorded in June on Mount Mansfield.

If Santa can waterski on Christmas Eve because it was 60 degrees in Central New York, it should come as no surprise we could see snow in June. There won't be enough snow to break out the skis and luckily it won't stay long.
