Two of country music’s hottest up-and-comers will team up to co-headline the 2015 CMT fall tour. Brett Eldredge and Thomas Rhett announced the pairing during a Twitter exchange Wednesday afternoon (June 10).

Both Rhett and Eldredge will have new albums out this year, and both have been nominated for the most recent New Artist of the Year awards, with Eldredge winning the CMA Award in 2014. A humorous YouTube video helps make the announcement as well. You see, they couldn’t decide who should open for who, and after failing to settle their differences with a coin toss, pushup contest and sword fight they decided to share.

Danielle Bradbery will open the 2015 CMT on Tour. No official dates have been announced. Last year Kip Moore and Sam Hunt toured the country, playing mostly theaters. Once again the tour teams up with some of the hottest, on-the-brink-of-stardom acts in country music.

Eldredge just announced his album Illinois will be released on Sept. 11. The new project features the song “Lose My Mind.” Rhett’s new album release date has not yet been announced, but it’s going to feature the song “Crash and Burn.” Between them they have six No. 1 hits and six songs that have gone Gold or Platinum. They’re also known for being two of the more well-dressed and attractive men in country music. Both made Taste of Country’s recent list of the Sexiest Men in Country Music.
