Imagine enjoying a sunny day jet skiing on the river and your engine dies. It happened on the St Lawrence River when a man was stranded for two hours after his jet ski died.

Boaters noticed the man and his broken down jet ski bobbing on the waves. "Thankfully you guys came along. I've been out here for two hours and my jet ski is filling up with water."

The boaters threw out a line and pulled him and his jet ski to shore, a few miles away. Despite being stranded for hours, the man remained positive. "I was headed to Wolfe Island. Glad it didn't happen then."

If you're heading out on the water, never go alone and wear a life jacket easily seen by others. The man's black jet ski and black and white jacket made him difficult to see in the choppy waters.
